With the change of government of Pakistan, it seems that on 15th or 16th April 2022, the price of petrol can be increased by 10 Pakistani rupees. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan had reduced the price of petrol by Rs 10 per litre which was being borne by the government due to removing the burden of high inflation on the people. But now with the arrival of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, rumours are circulating that the price of new petrol could be as high as Rs 160 per litre. At present, the price of petrol is Rs. 149 per litre as of April 14, 2022.
